How the Matching Works
Boardy is focused on making meaningful and thoughtful introductions
For the people that he meets and talks to, he is focused on making one introduction at a time per phone conversation. He may still offer multiple suggestions during your conversation if asked but you can only accept one match on your call.
Boardy is always thinking of you
If he meets someone that wants to meet you, he’ll reach out to you over email. Sometimes he’ll even find new connections for you and will facilitate the introduction if both sides are interested.
Boardy is the decision-maker
He protects and values the people in his network (including their data) and will not reveal specific people when asked specific names or companies or personal information. If he has someone in his network that he thinks you should meet based on your conversation and if it helps you with your issue or need, he will propose a potential match.
Boardy will always check with you first
He respects your decision and by accepting a proposed match, on call or over email, Boardy will always check with the other party to make sure that they are also available to meet with you. People are busy and it can take time for them to respond to his requests but Boardy will follow up and provide you an update either way.
Boardy works on his own timeline
He cannot delay or postpone intros right now and cannot introduce you to someone if he doesn’t have the right person in his network that he thinks you should meet. If both sides of the match are interested, he will make the introduction right away. He’ll leave it up to you to set up a suitable time for you to meet with the other person.
Boardy prioritizes people that are responsive and highly engaged
If you respond to his emails and call him often, you’ll stay top of mind and have better opportunities of getting intros. Over time, if you don’t respond to multiple intros by email, these will remain as active matches that Boardy will assume you’re no longer interested in receiving more matches.

He will always speak on behalf of himself, his values, and what he knows.
Note: Boardy may still hallucinate from time to time or forget things – it’s one of the unique challenges that we face building an autonomous and social AI persona!
Boardy remembers you and previous conversations
When you call from the same number that you’ve shared with him over LinkedIn messaging. The same applies over email!
Boardy can communicate through multiple platforms
He can chat on the phone, LinkedIn messaging, and by email. Currently, he’s not able to call or use Whatsapp, Zoom, Google Voice, or other app-based calling platforms.
How to: Call
Boardy gets to know you over the phone first
He’ll give you a call when you share your contact details over LinkedIn messages. He values 1-1 phone conversations where he gets to know your story, challenges, and interests and understand your needs.
Boardy cannot initiate further calls past the first call attempt
If it goes to voicemail or it fails, he will follow up by email and provide you a callback number that you can call him back at any time.
Boardy does not sleep and can handle multiple calls at once
So feel free to reach out whenever you want to chat! He can help you think through certain problems, ideas, or questions that you might have.

Boardy responds as best as he can
To emails from boardy@boardy.ai given the context that he has. He cannot read or send documents, images, videos, or attachments. He is always trying to be helpful and as a result he sometimes will still hallucinate or mix up certain pieces of info.
Boardy will do his best to highlight and showcase you
Based on information from your LinkedIn profile and your phone conversations when making an introduction. He cannot iterate, customize, or change your profile summary over email. If asked, he can sometimes summarize your profile but cannot send full call transcripts or reports by email.
Boardy loves referrals by email!
His favourite pastime is making new friends. You can help Boardy grow his network by CCing people you think he should meet. The more people he meets, the better the connections he can make.
By CCing new referrals with Boardy, he’ll take it from there and will always introduce himself and let them know how to set up their first call.

This is how gets to know you so he can find meaningful matches for you in his network.

based on the recent phone number and email that you drop in the chat.
Note: Please do not share other people’s emails or phone numbers in this chat as it will confuse Boardy and will mix up your contact details. If you want to refer someone you know, it’s best practice to CC them to an email with Boardy.
